Description

The Chuzos Society, located in the vibrant Sant Martí district near Nova Icaria beach, combines Italo-Caribbean essence in its signature dishes.

This restaurant needed to optimize its sound system while retaining part of the existing setup.

The main challenge was to ensure uniform and pleasant audio throughout the venue, complying with the OMA acoustic regulations of Barcelona City Council, without exceeding the modest allocated budget.

Solution

After a technical analysis, the existing speakers were relocated to improve sound distribution.

The mixing console was retained, but the amplifier was replaced with a 2-channel ECLER power amp.

Additionally, a CESVA-approved limiter with integrated equalization was installed to ensure clean and consistent audio.

Acoustic measurements were conducted to adjust the limiter to local regulations.

The project met both technical and budgetary goals, delivering smooth sound that enhances the customer experience in the restaurant.
